Description of project: Automatic measurement of Reader ASIC
Description of team:
- Working language: English / German
- By the end of the placement the contractor will have achieved the following goals/objectives:
- Setup of automatic measurements with LabView and NI’s hardware.
- Develop HW boards to execute the measurements
- Execute measurements and create as result a Spec compliance matrix.
- The candidate should work independently in customer’s lab in order to setup a test system
for a reader ASIC (4 half bridge antenna drivers, 1 buck/boost converter)
- Current consumption tests
- THD characterization
- Dynamic behavior (vs supply voltage, load condition, temperature, amplitude)
- Access to device through SPI/RS232
- Application test
- First tests should be ready when first silicon is available (e/o Sept) and validation should continue until the next design update is ready (interaction and feedback to design group).
Essential skills/tools/experiences:
- Labview
- Board design
- Knowledge of measurement techniques
- 3+ years experience
