Requirement:
- Develop firmware in the base drive (Hard
Disk Drive)
- Develop customer requested features/ functions
and integration of existing code base with new hardware
- Verifying that the functions work and ensure
adequate test coverage of new features and functions.
- Bring-up of new hardware and new recording
technologies
- embedded systems programming with C/C++
language
Qualification:
- MS or BS degree
- Must have 5+ years experience in the Hard
Disk Drive/SSD industry
- Hands-on experience with SATA, SAS & FACL
host interfaces, code architecture and firmware library a must
- Strong skills in embedded systems firmware
development with proficiency in C/C++ on an real time operating system
- Ability to script in Perl or TCL
