Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Firmware engineers

Requirement:

• Develop firmware in the base drive (Hard Disk Drive)
• Develop customer requested features/ functions and integration of existing code base with new hardware
• Verifying that the functions work and ensure adequate test coverage of new features and functions.
• Bring-up of new hardware and new recording technologies
• embedded systems programming with C/C++ language

Qualification:

• MS or BS degree
• Must have 5+ years experience in the Hard Disk Drive/SSD industry
• Hands-on experience with SATA, SAS & FACL host interfaces, code architecture and firmware library a must
• Strong skills in embedded systems firmware development with proficiency in C/C++ on an real time operating system
• Ability to script in Perl or TCL
